NEST, Coffee Table

Nest (coffee table) and Eyrie (dining table) encourage an aerial perspective of the architectural, nest-like oculus created by the interlocking leg design. The legs twist both individually and collectively as they spiral from the floor up to the glass tabletop, inspired by the self-supporting reciprocal structures found in Mandala style roofs. Modern day architecture still practices this construction technique, but iterations of the Mandala roof were first seen in Chinese architecture as early as the 12th century.
