Steam-bent in fumed oak with staggered heights at either end to maximise comfort for a couple with differing heights. Fuming oak in a tailor-made chamber with ammonia induces a chemical reaction which darkens the timber whilst keeping subtle colour variations within the grain. There is no regular required maintenance other than cleaning. No oil, or finish to be re-applied. To not disrupt the sheen & clarity of the final finish, we recommend just soap and water for cleaning with no grit-based cleaners or abrasive sponges. However, we have tested our baths with many heavy-duty bath cleaning products with no adverse effect.
